Great reminder for me, specifically today: Pray instead of complaining. Thank you.

My prayer focus this year is on two things, peace and repentance. God has reminded me that His bountiful blessings come through His peace and my repentance. Of course, there are many issues I need to work on, but when I heard these two words, I knew exactly what situation He was talking about. I'm saying the words every day, and asking Him to make them real in my life.

Thank you for your example, sweet friend.

I can understand how the devistation in Haiti effects the people in a deeply personal and spiritual way. After we lost all our material belongings in Hurricane Katrina, I found myself resting more in His hands than ever before. It may sound strange, but I think the complete surrender you are witnessing in the praises of the survivors is real and a blessing for them. There are few times in my life that I can honestly say that I felt God's physical presence holding me and my family, but the love and peace that He shares with us seems intensified during the lowest moments in our lives. It may sound crazy, but I know my walk with God and my faith was strengthened as a result of our catastrophe, and I know that the survivors in Haiti will have the same experience. God's hand is forever present, it may not always be apparent at that moment of tragedy, but trust me, it will be shown. I pray for the people of Haiti, that they can have the same spiritual awakening that I experienced and feel the love and compassion that only comes from Him. The will get through this tragedy and the world will see God's presence!

Congratulations!!

I know you worked hard this month and that is really awesome about your second graders, am sure the writer in some of them has been sparked.

Congratulations, to you and to your class! What a fantastic idea, to have 2nd graders set a goal and meet it, too. I have 3 boys-- I'm going to pass this on to them, and their teachers. Thank you! -Jennifer King

Me too MiMi...We're in this together! Great choice of cartoon...it really says it all!

I’m writing my first for the first time w/nanowrimo. You can follow me here…http://twitter.com/motivprocrast I’m finding it difficult to keep the same level of intensity from day to day b/c the story has already become stale to me. No preplanning or anything. We’ll see. I’ve failed two days and have success two days: http://wp.me/pGUOi-O I’m also blogging about it! I wish everyone luck.
